WELCOME  TO  CADETRACER.COM

Welcome to CadetRacer.com, whether you are just moving up from KidKarts or you have been in the Cadet class for a while, you will find what you are looking for here.  Our site includes several How-To articles, Tips and of course our Parts Department where we carry a complete line of Comer, Top Kart and Kart Mini parts with the guaranteed lowest prices on the internet.
If you know us from KidKarters.com many of the articles may look familiar, but I felt they were pertinent in the cadet class as well as the kid kart class.  Of course we will be updating both sites to keep you abreast of the latest information to keep your driver up front and your kart at it's optimum set-up.

Moving Up Early
So you have won a few club events, maybe even a national or two and on slow days at the local track your driver practices in his 80cc and does well.  People are amazed at how well he/she drives at such a young age and phrases like "natural" are heard in whispers behind you.  Sound familiar?

Comer Clutch Alert
It has come to our attention that many of the Comer 80 clutches coming out of the factory are defective.  For whatever reason the shoe is separating from clutch lining.  We strongly urge you to check your clutch often.  If you do have one of the defective clutches, return the entire clutch to the place of purchase for a replacement.
 Getting Started
A common question we hear: "If we start at the beginning of a season, how much will we need to budget to race all year?" Let's try for a range. Whether you start with new or used equipment will impact the amount you spend. The majority of new go-karters start with second hand equipment.  Sometimes you'll find it with a used engine ready to go. If you buy used from a current go-karter, the engine will likely be used.

 The Driver
The most important part of the team has to be the driver.  No matter how fast your kart can go, if the driver doesn't have the abilities to drive it you might as well have stayed home.  More than once we were not the fastest on the track but still finished out front because our driver had the seat time it takes to learn the strategies of racing.   <MORE>

Post-A-Pic
